What is your pricing?   eMarket 2.0 has set rates with the small business owner in mind.  We design professional websites filled with fine imagery and intellectual content giving you the opportunity to establish a prestigious industry web presence that promotes professionalism, expertise and creditability at a price that only looks premium.  All website pricing includes a free consultation, research of competitor websites, writing text, creating eye catching layouts, and most graphics and logo designs. There may be rare exceptions to this depending upon the cost of purchasing any special graphics or photos. What content should I put on my website?  We understand every business is different.  As your website designer, it is our job to assist you in finding the right wording and context for your site.  Keep in mind the most effective websites are eye catchy, yet professional looking, easy to navigate, functional, helpful and informational.  We have provided sample links to our website templates which should give you an idea of how a new site could look.  If needed, eMarket 2.0 has many other templates available to choose from and we have many substance ideas for sites.  For example:

  • Text/substance – we would collect data from you and other sources (competitors) and write original text for your website.
  • We could add a Knowledge Center or News link with sub-links to current laws, definitions, news, guidelines, etc relating to your industry.
  • Your Services’ link can have sub-links to pages that elaborate on the value of each service.
  • We can add a Resource link with different types of financial calculators, websites, etc.
  • We can elaborate on Types of Clients you service and this could be a main link off the home page navigational menu.
  • We have the capability of starting a blog on your website.
  • You may add downloadable documents, such as newsletters and other publications. 
  • Testimonials or Case Studies are both great marketing tools for your new website. 
  • We could create an original branding, logo or “stand out line” for you (such eMarket 2.0’s tag line, “Simplifying the Continually Evolving IT World for your Small Business.”


                                    
Do you host websites?  Yes, hosting is optional.  We host all of our designed sites through a third party vendor.  We arrange hosting only for those customers that have purchased our website design services. 

Do you provide email service?  Yes, we arrange email service through a third party vendor.  We arrange email service only for those customers that have purchased our website design services and registered a new and/or transferred an existing URL/domain name (web address). 

What are the fees for hosting websites and email services?  Hosting website domains are optional at just about $10 per month.  This includes 2 email suites.  If more than 2 email suites are needed, they are $1.00 per month per additional email suite.

What is the domain registration or transfer fee?  The registration/transfer fee is a one-time fee of $10 for registering a new or transferring an existing URL (web address). 

How do I determine what my new website domain (web address) will be and how will I know if that domain is available?  eMarket 2.0 will help you through this process.  Based on the name of your company, we will search available domain names and come up with several selections that are effective for the web.  Also, if you have a web address in mind, let us know, and we will check availability for you.  This service is included at no additional charge.  Click here for free domain name availability.

What if I already have a URL (website address) through another vendor?  If you already have an existing website, or URL/website address, you can use my services to design your new or updated site, and still keep your existing domain name (current URL – web address), without any transfer of hosting.  I am able to design sites and point them to existing domains with no additional set up or monthly fees and without interfering with your existing email service.

Can I host my site directly with your vendor, Intuit?  Yes, we encourage this and will walk you through the process of setting up your own hosting account. 

Can changes ever be made to the website once it is designed and launched?  Per eMarket 2.0’s Standard Consulting Web Design Agreement, we will, from time to time, make changes as requested by Customer which shall be included in the original cost of the website and include:

  • Unlimited changes – typographical errors or errors that violate copy write, or Internet laws or customer’s industry laws.
  • Unlimited changes - name, address, phone, contact additions or changes or other changes of this nature.
  • Unlimited changes - Addition of monthly news articles or publications that are in a ready to publish format.
  • Any other major changes or addition of pages that include further design and copy write will be made upon determination of an agreed upon price by both parties, at customary and reasonable rates.

What are the steps involved in getting a new website from eMarket 2.0 and how long will it take? The entire process takes anywhere from two to six weeks.  Briefly, to start the process you would need to sign the standard consulting/design agreement and put 50% down.  The deposit can be made online through PayPal and they accept most credit/debit cards; you do not need an account with PayPal to utilize our PayPal payment option.  Next, we will send you an email with a simple checklist of items/questions needed to get started; these require minimal effort on the part of our busy clients and are designed to help us jumpstart the process.  Just answer a few questions, and we take it from there!  During the design process, we use both phone and email to communicate ideas, corrections, etc. with clients.  Most clients communicate with us through email because they are extremely busy; this works really well. After we have final approval from the client, and final payment, we then launch the new site!
